After months of torment from the campus newspaper's humor section, the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee has filed a formal request to no longer appear in the Off the Wall section of Fourth Estate.
Much like student organizations filing budget requests, SUFAC Chair Lyndsy Beckett submitted a five-page proposal outlining why they should not be mentioned in Off the Wall.
"It was all fun and games at first, but now things have gotten ugly," Beckett said. "Students have forgotten this is a humor page and it's mistaken for actual news. Now I'm under attack."
Beckett said her car had been egged, rocks had been thrown at her, the SUFAC office was even filled with sheep carcuses.
SUFAC's new Vice Chair Jessica Olive is shocked by these actions.
"If I new what I was getting into I would have told Matt Kehl to take this job and shove it," Olive said
Executive members of Fourth Estate and Off the Wall as well as Chris Hanson haven't made any formal comments on the matter, but many believe stories will continue and possibly spread to other sections.
"This isn't the impression I wanted to leave on UW-Green Bay.
